About us

Florvale Home sells hand-poured scented candles online. You can reach us at any time at hello@florvalehome.com.

Orders

Adding items to your cart is not a binding order. A contract is formed only once your payment is confirmed and we send an order confirmation by email.

We may decline or cancel an order — with a full refund — if an item is out of stock, if a price or description was published in error, or if we suspect fraudulent use of a payment method.

Prices and payment

All prices are shown in US dollars and exclude shipping, which is calculated at checkout. Payment is processed by Stripe; we never handle your card details. Any sales tax or duties that apply are your responsibility unless stated otherwise at checkout.

Product information

We describe every candle as accurately as we can, but scent is subjective and colours can differ slightly between screens and batches, since each candle is poured by hand. Burn times are approximate and depend on how the candle is used.

Safe use of candles

Candles are an open flame. Please follow basic safety practice:

• Never leave a burning candle unattended, and keep it away from children and pets.
• Burn on a heat-resistant, level surface, away from anything flammable and out of draughts.
• Trim the wick to about 5 mm before each use, and burn for no more than four hours at a time.
• Stop use when roughly 10 mm of wax remains.

Intellectual property

The site's text, photography, logo and design belong to Florvale Home. You may not reproduce them commercially without our written permission.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud. Beyond that, and to the extent the law allows, our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not liable for damage caused by candles used contrary to the safety guidance above.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, and disputes fall to the courts of that state. This does not remove any mandatory consumer protection you have where you live.
